Se trata principalmente de boro, f\u00f3sforo, ars\u00e9nico y antimonio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"silicon-wafer-production\">Producci\u00f3n de obleas de silicio<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>El primer paso en la producci\u00f3n de la memoria flash es crear un lingote de silicio. Existen varios m\u00e9todos para obtener un lingote cil\u00edndrico. A continuaci\u00f3n, se introduce un cristal semilla en la masa fundida. Se tira lentamente hacia arriba, mientras el crisol y el cristal giran en direcciones opuestas. As\u00ed se obtiene un lingote cil\u00edndrico de silicio muy homog\u00e9neo, que tambi\u00e9n se denomina boule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Rebanar<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Una sierra de obleas corta el boule en obleas, que son discos muy finos (de unos 100-500 \u03bcm de grosor). A continuaci\u00f3n, se imprimen con una capa microsc\u00f3picamente fina y perfectamente uniforme de silicio y fotorresistencia. Una abertura compuesta por una fuente de luz y lentes proyecta la fotom\u00e1scara sobre la oblea. La mayor\u00eda de las empresas utilizan luz UV de alta energ\u00eda. Despu\u00e9s de algunos pasos adicionales, el patr\u00f3n de la fotom\u00e1scara se transfiere a la capa de silicio situada en la parte superior de la oblea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despu\u00e9s, hay que limpiar la primera capa para poder empezar con la siguiente. La m\u00e1quina de fotolitograf\u00eda repite estos pasos para cada capa hasta terminar la estructura 3D espec\u00edfica de la memoria flash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En esta fase, la oblea parece un disco con muchas celdas en la parte superior. Estas celdas, en su mayor\u00eda cuadradas, son los troqueles individuales, que en este caso son unidades individuales de memoria flash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Antes de seguir procesando las obleas, es necesario determinar la calidad de cada troquel. El resultado es el llamado mapa de obleas que indica el grado de cada troquel en la oblea. Debido a la naturaleza del proceso de producci\u00f3n, hay una tendencia a que los troqueles del centro tengan un mejor rendimiento que los del borde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las matrices que alcanzan el nivel de calidad requerido se recortan de la oblea y se incorporan a los dispositivos de memoria flash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ahora ya sabes c\u00f3mo se produce la memoria flash. Por supuesto, es casi imposible obtener resultados perfectamente consistentes cada vez debido a la enorme cantidad de par\u00e1metros que influyen en la producci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Todo, desde los materiales hasta las m\u00e1quinas, tiene que ser de una calidad perfecta para maximizar la cantidad de troqueles funcionales en cada oblea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"flash-memory-structure\">Estructura de la memoria flash<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Una sola c\u00e9lula de memoria flash puede almacenar 1 bit. Impiden que los electrones se muevan libremente, pero los electrones pueden hacer un t\u00fanel a trav\u00e9s de estas capas en determinadas circunstancias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"reading-and-writing-data\">Lectura y escritura de datos<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Las operaciones de escritura y lectura se controlan aplicando tensiones a la c\u00e9lula de memoria flash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Leer<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Para leer el Bit almacenado, la fuente se lleva a tierra o a 0V y se aplican unos 3V al drenaje y a la puerta de control. Esto obliga a los electrones a moverse horizontalmente desde la fuente al drenaje si la puerta flotante est\u00e1 vac\u00eda. El flujo de corriente se interpreta como un 1 l\u00f3gico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sin embargo, si los electrones quedan atrapados en la puerta flotante, impiden el flujo de corriente de la fuente al drenaje, lo que se interpreta como un 0 l\u00f3gico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Escribir<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Para escribir un 0 l\u00f3gico en la c\u00e9lula de memoria flash, los electrones deben quedar atrapados en la puerta flotante. Esto se consigue aplicando 0V a la fuente, alrededor de 7V al drenaje y un voltaje a\u00fan mayor, de alrededor de 10V, a la puerta de control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los electrones se ven obligados a desplazarse horizontalmente desde la fuente hasta el drenaje, pero algunos har\u00e1n un t\u00fanel hacia la puerta flotante debido a la mayor tensi\u00f3n. Una vez que se eliminan las tensiones, estos electrones quedan atrapados entre las dos capas de \u00f3xido hasta 10 a\u00f1os. Pero, con el tiempo, saldr\u00e1n de la puerta flotante y los datos se perder\u00e1n. Por lo tanto, hay que hacer copias de seguridad peri\u00f3dicas de los archivos importantes que residen en las unidades flash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Para eliminar los electrones de la puerta flotante y escribir un 1 l\u00f3gico, la puerta de control se lleva a tierra o a 0V y la fuente, el sustrato de silicio y el drenaje se ponen a unos 10V. De esta manera los electrones son forzados a salir de la puerta flotante.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por supuesto, cada celda de memoria flash tiene un n\u00famero limitado de operaciones de lectura y escritura hasta que se desgasta.
