Queste sono principalmente boro, fosforo, arsenico e antimonio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"silicon-wafer-production\">Produzione di wafer di silicio<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Il primo passo nella produzione della memoria flash \u00e8 creare un lingotto di silicio. Ci sono diversi metodi per ottenere un lingotto cilindrico. Dopo di che un cristallo seme viene introdotto nella massa fusa. Esso viene lentamente tirato verso l'alto, mentre il crogiolo e il cristallo ruotano in direzioni opposte. Questo porta ad un lingotto cilindrico molto omogeneo di silicio, chiamato anche boule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Affettare<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Una sega per wafer taglia la boule in wafer, che sono dischi molto sottili (circa 100-500 \u03bcm di spessore). I wafer vengono lucidati fisicamente e chimicamente per rimuovere eventuali difetti e impurit\u00e0 su scala atomica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"production-of-dies\">Produzione di stampi<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Naturalmente i wafer non possiedono ancora superpoteri. Devono prima essere trasformati in die. Poi viene innescato con uno strato microscopicamente sottile e perfettamente uniforme di silicio e photoresist. Un'apertura costituita da una fonte di luce e da lenti proietta la fotomaschera sul wafer. La maggior parte delle aziende usa luce UV ad alta energia. Dopo alcuni passi aggiuntivi, il modello della fotomaschera viene trasferito sullo strato di silicio sopra il wafer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dopo di che, il primo strato deve essere pulito per poter iniziare con lo strato successivo. La macchina fotolitografica ripete questi passaggi per ogni strato fino a quando la struttura 3D specifica della memoria flash \u00e8 finita.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In questa fase il wafer appare come un disco con molte celle in cima. Queste celle, per lo pi\u00f9 quadrate, sono le singole matrici, che in questo caso sono singole unit\u00e0 di memoria flash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prima che i wafer possano essere lavorati ulteriormente, \u00e8 necessario determinare la qualit\u00e0 di ogni matrice. Il risultato \u00e8 una cosiddetta mappa del wafer che indica il grado di ogni matrice sul wafer. A causa della natura del processo di produzione c'\u00e8 una tendenza che nel centro ha prestazioni migliori dei die vicino al bordo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le matrici che raggiungono lo standard di qualit\u00e0 richiesto sono tagliate dal wafer e costruite in dispositivi di memoria flash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ora sapete come viene prodotta la memoria flash. Naturalmente \u00e8 quasi impossibile avere risultati perfettamente coerenti ogni volta a causa dell'enorme quantit\u00e0 di parametri che influenzano la produzione.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tutto, dai materiali alle macchine, deve essere di qualit\u00e0 perfetta per massimizzare la quantit\u00e0 di matrici funzionanti su ogni wafer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"flash-memory-structure\">Struttura della memoria flash<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Una singola cella di memoria flash pu\u00f2 memorizzare 1 bit. Essi impediscono agli elettroni di muoversi liberamente, ma gli elettroni possono attraversare questi strati in determinate circostanze.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"reading-and-writing-data\">Lettura e scrittura di dati<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Le operazioni di scrittura e di lettura sono controllate applicando tensioni alla cella di memoria flash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Leggere<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Per leggere il Bit memorizzato, la sorgente \u00e8 tirata a terra o 0V e circa 3V sono applicati al drain e al gate di controllo. Questo costringe gli elettroni a muoversi orizzontalmente dalla sorgente al drenaggio se il gate flottante \u00e8 vuoto. Il flusso di corrente viene interpretato come un 1 logico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tuttavia, se gli elettroni sono intrappolati nel gate fluttuante, impediscono il flusso di corrente dalla sorgente al drain, che viene interpretato come uno 0 logico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Scrivere<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Per scrivere uno 0 logico nella cella di memoria flash, gli elettroni devono essere intrappolati nel gate fluttuante. Questo si ottiene applicando 0V al source, circa 7V al drain e una tensione ancora pi\u00f9 alta di circa 10V al gate di controllo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gli elettroni sono costretti a spostarsi di nuovo orizzontalmente dalla sorgente al drenaggio, ma alcuni di loro scavano un tunnel nel gate flottante a causa della tensione pi\u00f9 alta. Una volta rimosse le tensioni, questi elettroni sono intrappolati tra i due strati di ossido fino a 10 anni! Ma alla fine usciranno dal floating gate e i dati andranno persi. Quindi si dovrebbe fare un backup regolare di tutti i file importanti che risiedono sulle unit\u00e0 flash.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Per rimuovere gli elettroni dal floating gate e scrivere un 1 logico, il gate di controllo viene tirato a terra o a 0V e la sorgente, il substrato di silicio e il drenaggio vengono messi a circa 10V. In questo modo gli elettroni sono forzati a uscire dal gate fluttuante.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Naturalmente ogni cella di memoria flash ha un numero limitato di operazioni di lettura e scrittura finch\u00e9 non si consuma.
