Al giorno d'oggi, su quasi tutti i dispositivi, dagli smartphone ai computer portatili, dalle lavatrici alle automobili, \u00e8 presente un RTC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ma Raspberry Pi 5 \u00e8 il primo prodotto di punta dotato di RTC. (<em><a href=\"https:\/\/datasheets.raspberrypi.com\/rp2040\/rp2040-datasheet.pdf\">Il Pico ha un RTC!<\/a><\/em>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Devo essere onesto con voi per un secondo: noi vendiamo veramente <a href=\"https:\/\/buyzero.de\/search?type=product&amp;options%5Bprefix%5D=last&amp;options%5Bunavailable_products%5D=last&amp;q=rtc\">alcuni componenti aggiuntivi RTC<\/a> per Raspberry Pi presso la nostra azienda sorella. E non ne ho mai guardato uno da vicino prima dell'annuncio di Raspberry Pi 5.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Non ci ho mai pensato. Chi ha bisogno di un RTC? Di certo non ho avuto bisogno di un RTC in nessuno dei miei progetti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ero quindi un po' sorpreso che le persone fossero cos\u00ec entusiaste. La batteria \u00e8 ovviamente ricaricabile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Inoltre, la batteria \u00e8 dotata di un pad biadesivo. In questo modo \u00e8 possibile attaccarla a una parete o a una superficie. Oppure pu\u00f2 essere inserita nella custodia ufficiale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In ogni caso, il modulo RTC include un oscillatore a cristallo che genera un segnale di clock stabile (32 kHz). Questo segnale viene suddiviso per fornire secondi, minuti, ore, giorni, mesi e anni precisi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Quando il Raspberry Pi 5 si avvia, legge le informazioni relative all'ora e alla data dal modulo RTC. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L'RTC continua a tenere traccia dell'ora, assicurando che il sistema abbia sempre un riferimento preciso, anche in caso di interruzioni di corrente o riavvii. E funziona anche se non \u00e8 collegato a Internet o a un server Network Time Protocol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tuttavia, se ci si affida alla sola batteria, \u00e8 bene sapere che probabilmente durer\u00e0 circa 6 mesi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">RTC su RPi 5<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>L'RTC di Raspberry Pi 5 \u00e8 controllato dal circuito integrato di gestione dell'alimentazione, situato in basso a sinistra sulla scheda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/picockpit.com\/raspberry-pi\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Screenshot-from-2023-10-09-13-59-51.png\" alt=\"Circuito integrato di gestione dell&#039;alimentazione\" class=\"wp-image-5573\" style=\"width:394px;height:421px\" width=\"394\" height=\"421\" srcset=\"https:\/\/picockpit.com\/raspberry-pi\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Screenshot-from-2023-10-09-13-59-51.png 565w, https:\/\/picockpit.com\/raspberry-pi\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Screenshot-from-2023-10-09-13-59-51-281x300.png 281w, https:\/\/picockpit.com\/raspberry-pi\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Screenshot-from-2023-10-09-13-59-51-11x12.png 11w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 394px) 100vw, 394px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Questo circuito integrato \u00e8 in realt\u00e0 un circuito integrato di gestione dell'alimentazione progettato su misura per Raspberry Pi 5. Vale la pena di parlarne un po' in dettaglio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c8 controllato da I2C. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dispone di otto regolatori Buck Switched-Mode Power Supply e tre regolatori Low Drop-Out. I regolatori SMPS Buck sono efficienti nel ridurre la tensione da un livello pi\u00f9 alto a un livello pi\u00f9 basso, mentre gli LDO mantengono una tensione di uscita stabile con una caduta di tensione minima.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Controlla anche l'interruttore HDMI 5V, il PHY USB-PD, il pulsante di accensione e, naturalmente, l'RTC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Se si osserva l'immagine qui sopra, si nota la piccola porta giallastra etichettata \"BAT\", dove si inserisce la batteria dell'RTC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alla faccia dell'hardware.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dal punto di vista del software, l'RTC comunica con il sistema tramite l'interfaccia mailbox del firmware. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Inoltre, l'RTC pu\u00f2 spesso essere programmato per generare allarmi o segnali di risveglio a orari specifici. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Questa funzione \u00e8 utile per attivare eventi o risvegliare il Raspberry Pi da uno stato di basso consumo per eseguire attivit\u00e0 programmate. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Inoltre, il driver RTC si carica automaticamente all'avvio, seguendo le normali procedure di Linux. <code data-no-translation=\"\">hwclock<\/code> comportamento. Perch\u00e9 tutto questo va benissimo, ma che importanza ha?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Come ho gi\u00e0 indicato in precedenza, un RTC \u00e8 importante per le applicazioni in cui si desidera che il Pi si addormenti, si svegli e poi si riaddormenti. Questo \u00e8 molto importante per l'efficienza energetica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In primo luogo, uno degli esempi pi\u00f9 ovvi che ho trovato \u00e8 quello delle telecamere di sicurezza o delle telecamere per animali.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c8 possibile collegare una fotocamera al Pi e dotarla di un sensore. Quando rileva un movimento, pu\u00f2 svegliarsi, scattare una foto e poi tornare a dormire. Questo potrebbe essere utile per le telecamere degli uccelli e degli scoiattoli o anche per un progetto di conservazione della fauna selvatica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In secondo luogo, un'altra applicazione che coinvolge anche gli animali sarebbe una telecamera per il riconoscimento di cani e gatti per una porta per animali domestici.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Devo ammettere che, essendo una persona senza animali domestici, non sono sicuro di come potrebbe funzionare. Ma qualcuno l'ha suggerito sul forum di Raspberry Pi: una porta per animali domestici che utilizza una telecamera per riconoscere l'animale prima di aprirsi. Immagino che questo impedirebbe agli animali casuali di entrare in casa vostra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Commentate qui sotto se avete qualche indizio su come potrebbe funzionare!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In terzo luogo, \u00e8 possibile utilizzare l'RTC per sincronizzare l'ora su una flotta di Raspberry Pis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dato che gli RTC consentono di registrare il tempo anche quando il Raspberry Pi 5 \u00e8 offline, \u00e8 possibile garantire un'accurata registrazione dei dati. Penso che ci sia probabilmente un numero illimitato di applicazioni scientifiche e industriali per una cosa del genere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Quarto, e ultimo, aiuta a garantire il corretto funzionamento del sistema operativo, anche quando il Pi \u00e8 offline. Anche se questo \u00e8 molto banale, \u00e8 forse il caso pi\u00f9 importante in cui le persone normali utilizzeranno l'RTC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ovviamente, se l'orologio di un sistema operativo non \u00e8 corretto o inizia anche solo ad andare alla deriva, l'intero sistema pu\u00f2 andare in tilt. Quindi, utilizzando l'RTC, anche il sistema operativo del Raspberry Pi funzioner\u00e0 meglio.
