Mas muita coisa aconteceu no \u00faltimo ano e meio, por isso quer\u00edamos falar sobre o Compute Module 4 e tudo o que \u00e9 poss\u00edvel fazer com ele em 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Afinal de contas, os Compute Modules foram concebidos para pessoas que querem fazer a sua pr\u00f3pria placa de circuito impresso personalizada. E a Raspberry Pi tamb\u00e9m produz placas de IO oficiais para o ajudar a iniciar-se nessa tarefa!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Muitas pessoas descartaram-nos para fabricantes e entusiastas. Dizem coisas como: \"Ahhh, os m\u00f3dulos de computa\u00e7\u00e3o s\u00e3o apenas para a ind\u00fastria\". No entanto, se tiveres a determina\u00e7\u00e3o necess\u00e1ria, eles v\u00e3o servir-te bem em muitos projectos!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hist\u00f3ria<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Em primeiro lugar, vale a pena fazer um breve historial das ofertas de m\u00f3dulos de computa\u00e7\u00e3o da Raspberry Pi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.raspberrypi.com\/news\/raspberry-pi-compute-module-new-product\/\">O m\u00f3dulo de computa\u00e7\u00e3o inicial<\/a> foi apresentado em 2014 pela Raspberry Pi Ltd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Como mencionei acima, a ideia por detr\u00e1s do Compute Module era criar algo um pouco mais personaliz\u00e1vel e um pouco mais resistente. Desta forma, as pessoas e as empresas podem criar os PCBs que quiserem e ainda obter o poder de computa\u00e7\u00e3o do Raspberry Pi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Assim, pode utilizar o hardware e o software do Raspberry Pi no seu pr\u00f3prio sistema e forma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Al\u00e9m disso, os Compute Modules t\u00eam interfaces de entrada-sa\u00edda adicionais e podem ser fornecidos com mem\u00f3ria flash especial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Depois do Compute Module 1 veio o Compute Module 3 e o Compute Module 3 Lite. Seguiram-se o Compute Module 3+ e o Compute Module 3+ Lite. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O 3+ correspondia \u00e0 atualiza\u00e7\u00e3o do Raspberry Pi 3 B para o Raspberry Pi 3 B+. que girava principalmente em torno do aumento do clock da CPU de 1200 MHz para 1400 MHz e da melhoria das capacidades de rede.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>E as vers\u00f5es Lite s\u00e3o m\u00f3dulos que v\u00eam sem a mem\u00f3ria flash eMMC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>E depois, em 19 de outubro de 2020, foi lan\u00e7ado o Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Especifica\u00e7\u00f5es do CM4<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Tal como o Raspberry Pi 4, o Compute Module 4 \u00e9 super potente, superando o Compute Module 3+ em praticamente todas as m\u00e9tricas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>E, tal como o Raspberry Pi 4, utiliza o chip Broadcom BCM2711, com um sistema quad-core ARM Cortex-A72 (ARM v8) de 64 bits num chip (SoC) a 1,5 GHz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tamb\u00e9m partilha as varia\u00e7\u00f5es da SDRAM LPDDR4-3200 com ECC, o que significa que pode obter um com 1 GB, 2 GB, 4 GB ou mesmo 8 GB de RAM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O Compute Module 4 tamb\u00e9m pode levar um Cypress CYW43455 para WiFi e Bluetooth. Estas s\u00e3o as liga\u00e7\u00f5es prim\u00e1rias para ligar o CM4 \u00e0 placa de circuito impresso da sua escolha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>E, uma \u00faltima coisa a notar \u00e9 que o Compute Module 4 ser\u00e1 produzido at\u00e9, pelo menos, janeiro de 2031. H\u00e1 tr\u00eas coisas fundamentais que um CM4 pode oferecer-lhe:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Mem\u00f3ria flash eMMC<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>uma interface PCIe<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>uma liga\u00e7\u00e3o de antena externa<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Vale a pena aprofundar brevemente estes tr\u00eas aspectos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>eMMC significa embedded MultiMediaCard (cart\u00e3o multim\u00e9dia incorporado). \u00c9 um tipo de armazenamento flash n\u00e3o vol\u00e1til normalmente utilizado em pequenos dispositivos como smartphones, tablets e computadores de placa \u00fanica como o Compute Module 4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O CM4 tem um chip de armazenamento eMMC incorporado que pode variar em termos de capacidade. Como mencionei acima, o Compute Module Lites n\u00e3o vem com nenhum armazenamento eMMC. Mas o que \u00e9 importante \u00e9 que o eMMC \u00e9 muito mais r\u00e1pido e fi\u00e1vel do que os cart\u00f5es micro SD que s\u00e3o necess\u00e1rios para um Raspberry Pi t\u00edpico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PCIe significa Peripheral Component Interconnect Express. Trata-se de uma interface de alta velocidade para ligar componentes de hardware dentro de um computador. A temperatura de funcionamento do Raspberry Pi 4 situa-se entre 0\u00b0C e 50\u00b0C. Embora o Raspberry Pi 4 tenha duas portas USB 3.0, o CM4 n\u00e3o tem nenhuma. Est\u00e1 tamb\u00e9m perfeitamente configurada para o Raspberry Pi HAT padr\u00e3o e possui um rel\u00f3gio em tempo real com uma tomada de bateria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Devo mencionar aqui que \u00e9 uma placa bastante grande, 160mm x 90mm, mas isso \u00e9 apenas porque tem tudo o que se pode desejar para uma placa de entrada-sa\u00edda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A Raspberry Pi Ltd. tamb\u00e9m teve a amabilidade de tornar a placa open-source, como referi acima. Por isso, pode <a href=\"https:\/\/www.raspberrypi.com\/products\/compute-module-4-io-board\/\">descarregar os ficheiros de origem<\/a> e edit\u00e1-los de modo a corresponderem \u00e0s especifica\u00e7\u00f5es pretendidas (e tamb\u00e9m potencialmente tornar a placa mais pequena!)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Projectos<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Agora vem a pergunta de um milh\u00e3o de d\u00f3lares: O que \u00e9 que <em>tu <\/em>fazer com o Compute Module 4?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Obviamente, se tiver um projeto que possa beneficiar de armazenamento eMMC, de uma interface PCIe ou de uma antena WiFi, ent\u00e3o poder\u00e1 fazer sentido utilizar um Compute Module 4 em vez de um Raspberry Pi 4, por exemplo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mas quero mostrar-vos nove projectos verdadeiramente fant\u00e1sticos que outros j\u00e1 realizaram especificamente com o Compute Module 4. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alguns destes projectos s\u00e3o de c\u00f3digo aberto e, infelizmente, outros n\u00e3o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mas todas elas v\u00e3o certamente despertar a sua curiosidade e inspir\u00e1-lo a come\u00e7ar a construir!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Projeto #1: Uma impressora 3D para m\u00f3dulos de computa\u00e7\u00e3o<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O primeiro projeto \u00e9 uma impressora 3D que utiliza o Compute Module 4 como controlador central. Assim, o CM4 \u00e9 ligado a uma placa de circuito impresso que controla todas as fun\u00e7\u00f5es da impressora.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pode ver um exemplo disto com <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hackster.io\/news\/pascal-wistinghausen-s-raspberry-pi-cm4-powered-sigmoid-s7p-3d-print-control-board-hits-kickstarter-082d6e2f4624\">Sigmoide S7P de Pascal Wistinghausen<\/a>. Um projeto semelhante est\u00e1 dispon\u00edvel em <a href=\"https:\/\/community.element14.com\/challenges-projects\/element14-presents\/project-videos\/w\/documents\/8705\/episode-496-compute-module-4-powered-3d-printer-board\">elemento14<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Uma das desvantagens destes produtos \u00e9 que nenhum deles \u00e9 de c\u00f3digo aberto, pelo que ter\u00e1 de ser criativo e conceber a sua pr\u00f3pria placa de circuito impresso. Mas, pelo menos, pode recorrer a estes para se inspirar!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Projeto #2: M\u00f3dulo de computa\u00e7\u00e3o NAS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O Network Attached Storage, ou NAS, \u00e9 um caso de utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o muito comum para o CM4, principalmente devido ao PCIe 2.0 de via \u00fanica de que falei acima. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mais uma vez, o PCIe torna a transfer\u00eancia de dados super r\u00e1pida e f\u00e1cil, pelo que pode transformar o seu M\u00f3dulo de Computa\u00e7\u00e3o na sua pr\u00f3pria Nuvem pessoal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ao contr\u00e1rio dos exemplos de impressoras 3D, este projeto est\u00e1 dispon\u00edvel gratuitamente em <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/mebs\/CM4-NAS\">este reposit\u00f3rio CM4 NAS no GitHub<\/a>. Assim, basta descarreg\u00e1-los para obter os seus de um fabricante de placas de circuito impresso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Projeto #3: Um m\u00f3dulo de computa\u00e7\u00e3o para TV Stick<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Utiliza o seu Raspberry Pi como centro multim\u00e9dia ou para jogar jogos RetroPie? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Depois, deve transformar o seu Compute Module 4 num TV Stick. Pode obter a mesma pot\u00eancia que obt\u00e9m com o seu Raspberry Pi e lig\u00e1-lo diretamente ao seu monitor ou TV. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deite fora o cabo HDMI, porque a placa lig\u00e1-lo-\u00e1 por si. Mas este projeto vai certamente fazer com que o seu c\u00e9rebro se entusiasme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Projeto #4: Uma C\u00e2mara Estereosc\u00f3pica de M\u00f3dulo Computadorizado<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No entanto, quando se trata de projectos de c\u00f3digo aberto, este \u00e9 realmente fant\u00e1stico. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Utilizando o Compute Module 4, pode criar fotografias 3D, gravar v\u00eddeos estereosc\u00f3picos ou mesmo criar rob\u00f4s com sistemas operativos de rob\u00f4s a bordo. Tudo isto \u00e9 feito pelo <a href=\"https:\/\/hackaday.io\/project\/175788\/logs\">StereoPi<\/a> juntamente com o StereoPi v2 PoE Shield.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>E o StereoPi n\u00e3o est\u00e1 muito longe de um outro est\u00e9reo-microsc\u00f3pio de c\u00f3digo aberto chamado <a href=\"https:\/\/hackaday.io\/project\/180044-stereo-ninja\">Ninja est\u00e9reo<\/a>. \u00c9 por isso que \u00e9 t\u00e3o valioso ter acesso \u00e0 c\u00e2mara MIPI CSI com o CM4. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c9 poss\u00edvel utiliz\u00e1-lo com c\u00e2maras estereosc\u00f3picas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Projeto #5: Uma atualiza\u00e7\u00e3o de hardware do m\u00f3dulo de computa\u00e7\u00e3o<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Uma das minhas empresas favoritas \u00e9 a MNT pelo seu empenhamento no hardware de c\u00f3digo aberto. Por exemplo, criam computadores port\u00e1teis que s\u00e3o inteiramente de c\u00f3digo aberto e est\u00e3o dispon\u00edveis gratuitamente para serem modulados e personalizados.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Para tal, partilham constantemente as formas como as pessoas est\u00e3o a transformar os seus produtos. E um dispositivo a que alguns recorreram foi o Compute Module 4. O que o CM4 pode oferecer \u00e9 uma forma barata e f\u00e1cil de <a href=\"https:\/\/community.mnt.re\/\">actualize o seu hardware<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>E, como \u00e9 \u00f3bvio, n\u00e3o precisa de um dispositivo MNT para utilizar o CM4. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mas use isto como inspira\u00e7\u00e3o para atualizar o hardware do seu dispositivo!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Projeto #6: Um servidor local IoT de m\u00f3dulo de computa\u00e7\u00e3o<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Uma coisa que se pode fazer com um Compute Module 4 \u00e9 utiliz\u00e1-lo num servidor de dom\u00f3tica. Este projeto muito interessante come\u00e7ou como uma placa de circuito impresso personalizada financiada pelo p\u00fablico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eles oferecem um servidor de automa\u00e7\u00e3o dom\u00e9stica de c\u00f3digo aberto que funciona no CM4. Um cluster \u00e9 um n\u00famero de Raspberry Pis ligados uns aos outros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Os clusters podem ser utilizados por v\u00e1rios motivos: computa\u00e7\u00e3o distribu\u00edda, servidores Web, um Docker Swarm, um gateway para IoT ou pode utilizar um cluster do Compute Module como um servidor NAS. Tamb\u00e9m pode utiliz\u00e1-lo para aprendizagem autom\u00e1tica ou testes de aplica\u00e7\u00f5es. Centra-se em torno de uma placa \u00e0 qual se podem adicionar m\u00f3dulos magn\u00e9ticos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c9 poss\u00edvel deslocar estes m\u00f3dulos para criar uma consola de jogos port\u00e1til, uma placa LED ou at\u00e9 um NAS multi-SSD.
