atualiza\u00e7\u00e3o not\u00e1vel do CPU, mas com o Raspberry Pi 5, atingimos um n\u00edvel totalmente novo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">O novo modelo utiliza o chip Broadcom BCM2712, que inclui um sistema quad-core ARM Cortex-A76 (ARM v8) de 64 bits num chip (SoC), com caches L2 de 512 KB e uma cache L3 partilhada de 2 MB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Se tem um Raspberry Pi 4, sabe que este tem suporte oficial para funcionar a 1,8 GHz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mas tem suporte oficial para funcionar a 2,4 GHz!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A este enorme aumento da CPU junta-se um novo chip desenvolvido internamente chamado RP1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">O RP1 \u00e9 um southbridge configurado para controlar a grande maioria das capacidades de E\/S do Raspberry Pi 5. \u00c9 tamb\u00e9m a primeira vez que um produto Raspberry Pi de refer\u00eancia est\u00e1 a receber sil\u00edcio desenvolvido internamente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Devido ao southbridge, existe todo um novo universo de desempenho e funcionalidade dos perif\u00e9ricos.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Com o novo modelo, tem mais do dobro da largura de banda USB agregada do Pi 4. E pode arrancar o seu Raspberry Pi 5 atrav\u00e9s de USB 3.0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tamb\u00e9m tem o dobro do desempenho m\u00e1ximo do cart\u00e3o SD atrav\u00e9s do modo de alta velocidade SD104.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">N\u00e3o s\u00f3 estas liga\u00e7\u00f5es s\u00e3o mais r\u00e1pidas, como tamb\u00e9m o Raspberry Pi 5 vem com liga\u00e7\u00f5es completamente novas!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A primeira coisa que vai notar \u00e9 uma interface PCIe 2.0 de via \u00fanica. A PCIe \u00e9 uma grande atualiza\u00e7\u00e3o. J\u00e1 t\u00ednhamos um conetor PCIe com a placa de E\/S do Compute Module 4, mas agora temos um conetor PCIe diretamente atrav\u00e9s de um produto de topo. O melhor de tudo \u00e9 que at\u00e9 \u00e9 poss\u00edvel arrancar atrav\u00e9s de PCIe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Por isso, se tem vontade de construir um NAS Raspberry Pi, um Pi 5 com PCIe ser\u00e1 a melhor forma de o p\u00f4r a funcionar!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Al\u00e9m disso, tem uma microarquitectura totalmente nova para a GPU, que \u00e9 a VideoCore VII.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tamb\u00e9m vem com LPDDR4X-4267 SDRAM e, no lan\u00e7amento, pode obt\u00ea-lo com 4 GB ou 8 GB de RAM. Uma variante de 2 GB ser\u00e1 provavelmente lan\u00e7ada em breve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">E o tamanho da RAM \u00e9 agora vis\u00edvel na placa! Por outras palavras, encontramos aqui as mesmas op\u00e7\u00f5es de conetividade que j\u00e1 estavam dispon\u00edveis no Raspberry Pi 4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Isto significa que o WiFi 6 ainda n\u00e3o \u00e9 suportado, em grande parte devido ao seu pre\u00e7o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No entanto, embora n\u00e3o tenha havido qualquer atualiza\u00e7\u00e3o para o WiFi, existe uma liga\u00e7\u00e3o de maior largura de banda ao chip WiFi, o que significa que o seu Raspberry Pi 5 vai proporcionar-lhe uma liga\u00e7\u00e3o de maior largura de banda do que os modelos anteriores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">O Raspberry Pi 5 tamb\u00e9m vem com dois transceptores MIPI de 4 vias para c\u00e2maras e ecr\u00e3s. Com o Raspberry Pi 5, por outras palavras, passa a ser poss\u00edvel ligar duas c\u00e2maras ou dois ecr\u00e3s, abrindo todo um universo de aplica\u00e7\u00f5es estereosc\u00f3picas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Claro que, se conhecem bem os vossos Raspberry Pis, ent\u00e3o sabem que eles inverteram as portas Ethernet e USB no Raspberry Pi 4 para caber tudo na placa. Bem, com o Raspberry Pi 5, voltamos ao layout anterior. A porta Ethernet est\u00e1 de volta \u00e0 esquerda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tal como nos modelos anteriores, os pinos GPIO oferecem SPI, I2C, PWM, UART, SDIO, DPI, PCM e GPCLK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Existe um novo conetor UART no meio das duas portas micro HDMI. Est\u00e1 diretamente ligado ao SoC BCM2712. Destina-se principalmente \u00e0 depura\u00e7\u00e3o. Por outras palavras, o bot\u00e3o pode ser usado para acordar o Pi de um sono profundo. E, se o Pi estiver ligado, pode premi-lo rapidamente para enviar um pedido de desligamento ou pode premi-lo e mant\u00ea-lo premido para cortar a energia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Um novo sistema operativo para o Raspberry Pi<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Com um novo Raspberry Pi vem um novo sistema operativo - Raspberry Pi Bookworm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Infelizmente, uma coisa importante a notar \u00e9 que as vers\u00f5es mais antigas do Raspberry Pi OS n\u00e3o s\u00e3o suportadas no Raspberry Pi 5. Por isso, vais ter de fazer o flash do Bookworm para o teu Pi 5.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">O Bookworm utiliza um gestor de janelas que se baseia no protocolo Wayland, embora o seu ambiente de trabalho continue a ser o LXDE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De um modo geral, o Raspberry Pi est\u00e1 a tentar afastar-se das APIs propriet\u00e1rias em dire\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0s APIs abertas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Com o Bookworm como sistema operativo, alguns m\u00f3dulos mais antigos foram retirados.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Por exemplo <em>raspistilo<\/em> ser\u00e1 inteiramente substitu\u00eddo por <em>libcamera<\/em>.
