Med det nya 64-bitars operativsystemet kan en enda process ta upp hela 8 GB. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De verkliga f\u00f6rdelarna kommer att komma anv\u00e4ndare som anv\u00e4nder sina Raspberry Pis som servrar, Docker- eller Kubernetes-v\u00e4rdar och andra h\u00f6gintensiva anv\u00e4ndningsomr\u00e5den som videokodning till godo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kanske b\u00f6r vi ocks\u00e5 notera att betaversionen av 64-bitars Raspberry Pi OS kom ut samtidigt som 8 GB Pi 4 sl\u00e4pptes (maj 2020).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Varf\u00f6r s\u00e4ger jag d\u00e5 att dessa f\u00f6rdelar bara \u00e4r \"teoretiska\"? Det beror helt enkelt p\u00e5 de andra flaskhalsarna. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Om det program som du ofta anv\u00e4nder inte har en 64-bitarsversion kommer du inte att ha n\u00e5gon st\u00f6rre f\u00f6rdel eftersom du fortfarande m\u00e5ste anv\u00e4nda 32-bitarsversionen (till exempel om du vill anv\u00e4nda Chromium f\u00f6r att str\u00f6mma Netflix eller annat DRM-inneh\u00e5ll).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jag testade ocks\u00e5 en Raspberry Pi Zero 2 med 32- och 64-bitars operativsystem och laddningstiderna f\u00f6r PiCockpit.com \u00e4ndrades inte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"what-do-the-32-bit-vs-64-bit-raspberry-pi-benchmarks-say\">Vad s\u00e4ger 32-bitars respektive 64-bitars Raspberry Pi-benchmarks?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/openbenchmarking.org\/result\/2202058-NE-RASPBERRY79&amp;sgm=1\" rel=\"nofollow\">benchmark-studie<\/a> har visat att Raspberry Pi OS 64-bitars \u00e4r snabbare \u00e4n 32-bitars i alla tester utom ett.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Michael Larabel testade detta p\u00e5 en Raspberry Pi 400 med 4 GB och hans resultat visar att 64-bitars operativsystemet var \u00f6verv\u00e4ldigande b\u00e4ttre n\u00e4r det g\u00e4llde grafikhantering, AI, ljudkodning, stress-ng, komprimering och m\u00e5nga andra tester.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hans slutsats \u00e4r att du kommer att se en genomsnittlig f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttring av prestandan med 48% om du g\u00f6r exakt samma sak med 64-bitars operativsystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>K\u00f6r 64-bitars program<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En annan f\u00f6rdel med att anv\u00e4nda ett 64-bitars operativsystem p\u00e5 Raspberry Pi \u00e4r att du kan k\u00f6ra program som du inte skulle kunna k\u00f6ra p\u00e5 en 32-bitars motsvarighet. Till exempel finns vissa program med sluten k\u00e4llkod endast tillg\u00e4ngliga f\u00f6r arm64 och \u00e4ven program som fungerar p\u00e5 armhf \u00e4r inte n\u00f6dv\u00e4ndigtvis optimerade f\u00f6r det.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"downsides-of-using-the-64-bit-raspberry-pi-os\">Nackdelar med att anv\u00e4nda 64-bitars Raspberry Pi OS<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Begr\u00e4nsat st\u00f6d inom Pi-serien<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En av de b\u00e4sta sakerna med Raspberry Pi \u00e4r att du kan ta ett SD-kort (med ett installerat Raspberry Pi OS) fr\u00e5n en Pi och placera det i en annan.
