Men s\u00e5 mycket har h\u00e4nt under de senaste ett och ett halvt \u00e5ren, s\u00e5 vi ville prata om Compute Module 4 och allt du kan g\u00f6ra med den 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Compute Modules \u00e4r trots allt utformade f\u00f6r personer som vill g\u00f6ra sitt eget skr\u00e4ddarsydda kretskort. Och Raspberry Pi tillverkar ocks\u00e5 officiella IO-kort som hj\u00e4lper dig att komma ig\u00e5ng med det arbetet!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>M\u00e5nga har avf\u00e4rdat dem som n\u00e5got f\u00f6r tillverkare och entusiaster. Men om du har beslutsamheten kommer de absolut att tj\u00e4na dig v\u00e4l i m\u00e5nga projekt!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Historia<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>F\u00f6rst \u00e4r det v\u00e4rt att g\u00e5 igenom en snabb historik \u00f6ver Compute Module-erbjudandena fr\u00e5n Raspberry Pi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.raspberrypi.com\/news\/raspberry-pi-compute-module-new-product\/\">Den f\u00f6rsta ber\u00e4kningsmodulen<\/a> presenterades 2014 av Raspberry Pi Ltd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Som jag n\u00e4mnde ovan var tanken bakom Compute Module att skapa n\u00e5got som var lite mer anpassningsbart och lite mer motst\u00e5ndskraftigt. P\u00e5 s\u00e5 s\u00e4tt kan m\u00e4nniskor och f\u00f6retag skapa de kretskort de vill ha och \u00e4nd\u00e5 f\u00e5 den ber\u00e4kningskraft som Raspberry Pi har.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Du kan allts\u00e5 anv\u00e4nda Raspberry Pi:s h\u00e5rd- och mjukvara i ditt eget system och din egen form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ber\u00e4kningsmoduler har dessutom extra input-output-gr\u00e4nssnitt och kan levereras med s\u00e4rskilt flashminne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Efter Compute Module 1 kom Compute Module 3 och Compute Module 3 Lite. D\u00e4refter f\u00f6ljde Compute Module 3+ och Compute Module 3+ Lite. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3+ motsvarade uppdateringen av Raspberry Pi 3 B till Raspberry Pi 3 B+. som fr\u00e4mst handlade om att \u00f6ka CPU-klockan fr\u00e5n 1200 MHz till 1400 MHz och f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttra n\u00e4tverksfunktionerna.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Och Lite-versionerna \u00e4r moduler som levereras utan eMMC-flashminne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Och s\u00e5, den 19 oktober 2020, lanserades Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Specifikationer f\u00f6r CM4<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Precis som Raspberry Pi 4 \u00e4r Compute Module 4 superkraftfull och \u00f6vertr\u00e4ffar Compute Module 3+ i praktiskt taget alla m\u00e4tningar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Och precis som Raspberry Pi 4 anv\u00e4nder den Broadcom BCM2711-chippet, med fyrk\u00e4rnigt ARM Cortex-A72 (ARM v8) 64-bitars System on a Chip (SoC) p\u00e5 1,5 GHz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Den delar ocks\u00e5 variationerna i LPDDR4-3200 SDRAM med ECC, vilket inneb\u00e4r att du kan f\u00e5 en med 1 GB, 2 GB, 4 GB eller till och med 8 GB RAM-minne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Compute Module 4 kan ocks\u00e5 b\u00e4ra en Cypress CYW43455 f\u00f6r WiFi och Bluetooth. Dessa \u00e4r de prim\u00e4ra anslutningarna f\u00f6r att koppla CM4 till valfritt kretskort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Och en sista sak att notera \u00e4r att Compute Module 4 kommer att tillverkas \u00e5tminstone fram till januari 2031. Det finns tre viktiga saker som en CM4 kan erbjuda dig:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>eMMC flashminne<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ett PCIe-gr\u00e4nssnitt<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>en anslutning f\u00f6r extern antenn<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Det \u00e4r v\u00e4rt att kortfattat f\u00f6rdjupa sig i alla dessa tre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>eMMC st\u00e5r f\u00f6r embedded MultiMediaCard. Det \u00e4r en typ av icke-flyktigt flashminne som ofta anv\u00e4nds i sm\u00e5 enheter som smartphones, surfplattor och enkortsdatorer som Compute Module 4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CM4 har ett inbyggt eMMC-lagringschip som kan variera i kapacitet. Som jag n\u00e4mnde ovan levereras Compute Module Lites inte med n\u00e5gon eMMC-lagring. Men det viktiga \u00e4r att eMMC \u00e4r mycket snabbare och mer tillf\u00f6rlitligt \u00e4n de micro SD-kort som du beh\u00f6ver f\u00f6r en typisk Raspberry Pi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PCIe st\u00e5r f\u00f6r Peripheral Component Interconnect Express. Det \u00e4r ett h\u00f6ghastighetsgr\u00e4nssnitt f\u00f6r att ansluta h\u00e5rdvarukomponenter inuti en dator. Compute Module 4 st\u00f6der PCIe via sina GPIO-stift (General-Purpose Input\/Output). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Det inneb\u00e4r att du kan ansluta externa PCIe-enheter till CM4, t.ex. SSD-enheter (Solid State Drives), grafikkort eller andra expansionskort. Driftstemperaturen f\u00f6r Raspberry Pi 4 \u00e4r mellan 0\u00b0C och 50\u00b0C. Driftstemperaturen f\u00f6r Compute Module 4 \u00e4r mellan -25\u00b0C och 80\u00b0C . Det \u00e4r naturligtvis en enorm skillnad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Men om du vill testa CM4 vid sm\u00e4ltande temperaturer antar jag att du kan kolla in <a href=\"https:\/\/buyzero.de\/products\/waveshare-19623-cm4-heatsink?_pos=21&amp;_sid=f1780c3a0&amp;_ss=r\">Waveshare CM4 Kylfl\u00e4ns<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Du kanske ocks\u00e5 har m\u00e4rkt fr\u00e5n v\u00e5r artikel \"<a href=\"https:\/\/picockpit.com\/raspberry-pi\/everything-you-need-to-know-about-the-raspberry-pi-4\/\">Allt du beh\u00f6ver veta om Raspberry Pi 4<\/a>\" att Raspberry Pi 4 uppgraderades fr\u00e5n en standardklockhastighet p\u00e5 1,5 GHz till 1,8 GHz den 9 november 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Denna uppgradering g\u00e4llde dock inte CM4. S\u00e5 det \u00e4r verkligen en nackdel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">CM4 Variationer<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>En sak som sticker ut med Compute Module 4 \u00e4r att du kan f\u00e5 32 olika varianter av kortet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beroende p\u00e5 dina behov kan du best\u00e4mma om du vill ha WiFi eller inte, hur mycket RAM du vill ha och hur mycket eMMC-lagring du vill ha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vill du ha tr\u00e5dl\u00f6s anslutning? Ja eller nej?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hur mycket RAM-minne vill du ha? 1 GB, 2 GB, 4 GB eller 8 GB?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vill du ha eMMC? Det \u00e4r ocks\u00e5 perfekt konfigurerat f\u00f6r standard Raspberry Pi HAT och har en realtidsklocka med batteriuttag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jag b\u00f6r n\u00e4mna att det \u00e4r ett ganska stort kort, 160 mm x 90 mm, men det \u00e4r bara f\u00f6r att det har allt man kan \u00f6nska sig f\u00f6r ett input-output-kort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Raspberry Pi Ltd. har ocks\u00e5 varit v\u00e4nliga nog att g\u00f6ra kortet till \u00f6ppen k\u00e4llkod, som jag n\u00e4mnde ovan. S\u00e5 du kan <a href=\"https:\/\/www.raspberrypi.com\/products\/compute-module-4-io-board\/\">ladda ner k\u00e4llfilerna<\/a> och redigera dem f\u00f6r att uppfylla dina \u00f6nskade specifikationer (och eventuellt \u00e4ven g\u00f6ra kortet mindre!)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Projekt<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>S\u00e5 nu kommer den stora fr\u00e5gan: Vad kan vi g\u00f6ra f\u00f6r att <em>du <\/em>g\u00f6ra med ber\u00e4kningsmodul 4?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Om du har ett projekt som kan dra nytta av eMMC-lagring, ett PCIe-gr\u00e4nssnitt eller en WiFi-antenn kan det naturligtvis vara vettigt att anv\u00e4nda en Compute Module 4 snarare \u00e4n en Raspberry Pi 4, till exempel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Men jag vill visa dig nio riktigt fantastiska projekt som andra redan har gjort specifikt med Compute Module 4. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vissa av dessa projekt har \u00f6ppen k\u00e4llkod och andra har tyv\u00e4rr inte det.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Men alla kommer garanterat att v\u00e4cka din nyfikenhet och inspirera dig att b\u00f6rja bygga!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Projekt #1: En 3D-skrivare f\u00f6r ber\u00e4kningsmodul<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Det f\u00f6rsta projektet \u00e4r en 3D-skrivare som anv\u00e4nder Compute Module 4 som en central styrenhet. CM4 \u00e4r allts\u00e5 ansluten till ett kretskort som sedan styr skrivarens alla funktioner.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Du kan se ett exempel p\u00e5 detta med <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hackster.io\/news\/pascal-wistinghausen-s-raspberry-pi-cm4-powered-sigmoid-s7p-3d-print-control-board-hits-kickstarter-082d6e2f4624\">Pascal Wistinghausens Sigmoid S7P<\/a>. Ett liknande projekt finns tillg\u00e4ngligt p\u00e5 <a href=\"https:\/\/community.element14.com\/challenges-projects\/element14-presents\/project-videos\/w\/documents\/8705\/episode-496-compute-module-4-powered-3d-printer-board\">element14<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En nackdel med dessa \u00e4r att ingen av dem \u00e4r \u00f6ppen k\u00e4llkod, s\u00e5 du kommer att beh\u00f6va vara kreativ och designa ditt eget kretskort. Men du kan \u00e5tminstone v\u00e4nda dig till dessa f\u00f6r inspiration!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Projekt #2: Ber\u00e4kningsmodul NAS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Network Attached Storage, eller NAS, \u00e4r ett supervanligt anv\u00e4ndningsomr\u00e5de f\u00f6r CM4, fr\u00e4mst p\u00e5 grund av PCIe 2.0 som jag pratade om ovan. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c5terigen g\u00f6r PCIe data\u00f6verf\u00f6ringen snabb och enkel, s\u00e5 att du kan f\u00f6rvandla din Compute Module till ditt eget personliga moln. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Till skillnad fr\u00e5n exemplen med 3D-skrivare \u00e4r det h\u00e4r projektet fritt tillg\u00e4ngligt i <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/mebs\/CM4-NAS\">detta CM4 NAS-f\u00f6rr\u00e5d p\u00e5 GitHub<\/a>. Och f\u00f6rvaret inneh\u00e5ller de tryckta kretskortsfilerna. S\u00e5 du beh\u00f6ver bara ladda ner dem f\u00f6r att f\u00e5 dina fr\u00e5n en PCB-tillverkare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Projekt #3: En ber\u00e4kningsmodul f\u00f6r TV-minne<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anv\u00e4nder du din Raspberry Pi som mediacenter eller f\u00f6r att spela RetroPie-spel? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>D\u00e5 ska du f\u00f6rvandla din Compute Module 4 till en TV Stick. Du kan f\u00e5 samma kraft som du f\u00e5r med din Raspberry Pi och ansluta den direkt till din bildsk\u00e4rm eller TV. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sl\u00e4ng ut HDMI-kabeln, f\u00f6r kortet kommer att ansluta den \u00e5t dig. Du kan hitta ett exempel <a href=\"https:\/\/hackaday.io\/project\/180969-raspberry-pi-cm4-tv-stick\">h\u00e4r<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tyv\u00e4rr \u00e4r inte heller detta open source. Men det h\u00e4r projektet kommer garanterat att f\u00e5 din hj\u00e4rna att fl\u00f6da.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Projekt #4: En stereoskopisk kamera f\u00f6r ber\u00e4kningsmodul<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>N\u00e4r det g\u00e4ller projekt med \u00f6ppen k\u00e4llkod \u00e4r detta dock ett riktigt fantastiskt projekt. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Med Compute Module 4 kan du skapa 3D-foton, spela in stereoskopiska videor eller till och med bygga robotar med inbyggda robotoperativsystem. Allt detta g\u00f6rs av <a href=\"https:\/\/hackaday.io\/project\/175788\/logs\">StereoPi<\/a> tillsammans med StereoPi v2 PoE Shield.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Och StereoPi \u00e4r inte s\u00e5 l\u00e5ngt borta fr\u00e5n ett annat stereomikroskop med \u00f6ppen k\u00e4llkod som kallas <a href=\"https:\/\/hackaday.io\/project\/180044-stereo-ninja\">Stereo Ninja<\/a>. Det \u00e4r detta som \u00e4r s\u00e5 v\u00e4rdefullt med att ha tillg\u00e5ng till MIPI CSI-kameror med CM4. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Du kan verkligen anv\u00e4nda det med stereoskopiska kameror.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Projekt #5: Uppgradering av h\u00e5rdvaran i en ber\u00e4kningsmodul<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ett av mina favoritf\u00f6retag \u00e4r MNT f\u00f6r deras engagemang f\u00f6r h\u00e5rdvara med \u00f6ppen k\u00e4llkod. De skapar till exempel b\u00e4rbara datorer som \u00e4r helt baserade p\u00e5 \u00f6ppen k\u00e4llkod och fritt tillg\u00e4ngliga f\u00f6r modifiering och anpassning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>D\u00e4rf\u00f6r delar de st\u00e4ndigt med sig av de s\u00e4tt p\u00e5 vilka m\u00e4nniskor omvandlar deras produkter. Och en enhet som vissa har anv\u00e4nt sig av \u00e4r Compute Module 4. Vad CM4 kan erbjuda dig \u00e4r ett billigt och enkelt s\u00e4tt att <a href=\"https:\/\/community.mnt.re\/\">uppgradera din h\u00e5rdvara<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Och naturligtvis beh\u00f6ver du inte en MNT-enhet f\u00f6r att anv\u00e4nda CM4. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Men anv\u00e4nd detta som inspiration f\u00f6r att uppgradera din enhets h\u00e5rdvara!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Projekt #6: En lokal IoT-server med ber\u00e4kningsmodul<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En sak du kan g\u00f6ra med en Compute Module 4 \u00e4r att anv\u00e4nda den i en hemautomationsserver. Och h\u00e4r finns det f\u00f6rmodligen inget mer v\u00e4lk\u00e4nt \u00e4n <a href=\"https:\/\/www.home-assistant.io\/yellow\/\">Hemassistent gul<\/a>. Detta mycket coola projekt b\u00f6rjade sitt liv som ett crowd-finansierat kretskort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De erbjuder en hemautomationsserver med \u00f6ppen k\u00e4llkod som k\u00f6rs p\u00e5 CM4. De \u00e4r ungef\u00e4r som cyberpunk-laptops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Och medan vissa anv\u00e4nder vanliga Raspberry Pis f\u00f6r sina cyberdeck-projekt, har andra visat att <a href=\"https:\/\/hackaday.io\/project\/186854-zeetwin-rpi-cyberdeck\">du kan skapa ett mycket coolt cyberd\u00e4ck med en Compute Module 4<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Projekt #8: Ett kluster av ber\u00e4kningsmoduler<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Detta \u00e4r faktiskt en av de mest popul\u00e4ra anv\u00e4ndningarna av ber\u00e4kningsmoduler.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Om du vill k\u00f6ra flera Raspberry Pis samtidigt kan du \u00f6verv\u00e4ga att bygga ett Compute Module Cluster. Ett kluster \u00e4r ett antal Raspberry Pis som \u00e4r kopplade till varandra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kluster kan anv\u00e4ndas f\u00f6r en rad olika \u00e4ndam\u00e5l - distribuerad databehandling, webbservrar, en Docker Swarm, en gateway f\u00f6r IoT, eller s\u00e5 kan du anv\u00e4nda ett Compute Module-kluster som en NAS-server. Du kan ocks\u00e5 anv\u00e4nda det f\u00f6r maskininl\u00e4rning eller applikationstestning. Alternativen \u00e4r verkligen obegr\u00e4nsade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Det mest k\u00e4nda exemplet p\u00e5 ett Compute Module-kluster \u00e4r utan tvekan <a href=\"https:\/\/turingpi.com\/\">Turing Pi<\/a>, s\u00e5 du kan kolla in det om du vill ha mer information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Projekt #9: En modul\u00e4r dator med Compute-modul<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mitt absoluta favoritprojekt med Compute Module 4 \u00e4r <a href=\"https:\/\/pockit.ai\/\">Pockit<\/a> - en handh\u00e5llen modul\u00e4r dator. Den \u00e4r uppbyggd kring ett kort som man sedan kan l\u00e4gga till magnetiska moduler p\u00e5.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Du kan flytta runt dessa moduler f\u00f6r att t.ex. skapa en handh\u00e5llen spelkonsol, ett LED-kort eller till och med en multi-SSD NAS.
