And that one day of consultation can also include us integrating your needs into PiCockpit.

Our experienced development team can advise you on questions of any kind relating to Raspberry Pis, Linux, full-stack software development, embedded software development. We can also set up a Raspberry Pi image for you, or even build a prototype for you, for example.

You will receive one day (8 hours) of work from us on a project of your choice – worth 1428 € gross (1200 € net).

FAQ about the promotion

What do I have to do to take part in the promotion?

It’s simple: Buy one or more packaging units of the participating products during the promotion period.

Our accounts manager will then contact you to discuss the software project or your consulting requirements.

When placing your order, you are also welcome to tell us in the comments who in your team we should contact directly or briefly outline the project.

We will get in touch and provide you with free software consulting and/or software development according to the quantity you have purchased.

We will also contact customers who regularly purchase hardware from us so that they can benefit from the campaign as well.

What happens if I buy two or more packaging units?

You will receive one free day of consulting or software development from us for each packaging unit you purchase.

For example: if you order 3,000 Raspberry Pi 3B+’s from us during the promotion period (20 packaging units), you will receive 20 days of consulting and/or software development free-of-charge from one of our team members.

When is the promotion period?

The promotion period is from May 11th, 2024 to midnight on May 31st, 2024.

The time it takes for the purchase to be processed is included within the promotion period.

Practically all of these items are already in stock, except for the CM4 and the Coral Accelerator Chips. You are also welcome to order and pay for goods that we can reorder from our suppliers during the promotional period. With the exception of the Coral Accelerator Modules, the lead times are currently very short.

Note: CM3, CM3+ and other products not included in this list are explicitly excluded from the promotion.

Can I speak to the software development team in advance to see if my project is suitable for the promotion?

We are happy to clarify in advance whether we can work effectively for you in this area and whether the day is likely to be meaningfully productive for you.

However, we are also open to familiarizing ourselves with projects/technologies that we have not yet worked with within the scope of the 8 hours-per-packaging unit.

However, that training period is also part of the development and consultation time.

What if the one day of software consulting is not enough to build a prototype that I need, for example?

During the promotional period, you can purchase additional packaging units and we will be happy to continue working on your project.

You are also welcome to continue the consultation and development as paid consulting, at the same cost rate (which is a net 1,200 € per day).

First and foremost, you can use this promotion to integrate your project into PiCockpit. We’d also be happy to spend the time getting PiCockpit up and running for whatever use-case you need.

How quickly will the work be implemented?

We expect a very high demand for the offer and will therefore try to coordinate the work in our team in a timely manner.

We will provide the work in the order in which orders are received.

As our software development team consists of several employees, we have it currently planned out that we will be able to provide the consulting services within two weeks of the purchase at the latest.

Can I request the work later if I don’t currently need it?

Yes, you are welcome to postpone the work to any date within 2024.

Is there a limit to how many packaging units I can order?

You can order any number of packaging units of the participating products; in return, we will provide the development and software consulting services for 8 hours each.

For very large orders (e.g., 300,000 Raspberry Pi 4: 4 GB), the development service must be spread over several months, based on the capacities of our team.

Again, the payment must be received within the promotion period.

For example, the aforementioned quantity of Pi 4: 4 GB would be a turnover of a net 16.5 million USD, which must be credited to our account before we start the service. For such order quantities, the delivery may have to be adapted to the output of the SONY factory – please contact us if you would like to place such an order so that we can advise you on the delivery times.

What if the goods are not in stock?

Then it typically cannot be ordered through the buyzero.de website.

However, we will be happy to accept a prepaid order from you and supply the units to you as soon as we have received the goods from the manufacturer.

Regardless of the order, you can make use of the consulting services as soon as payment has been received in our account and the team has capacity.

Can I pay for the goods now and take advantage of the software consulting service, but postpone delivery of the goods to a later date?

Yes, this is possible by arrangement. For example, if you know that you need a Raspberry Pi packaging unit for production in September but would like to take part in the campaign, we can take you into account.

The decisive factor is the receipt of payment in our account: the purchase price for the desired goods must be credited to our account within the campaign period.

Are there any restrictions or other conditions?

  • The products must be purchased and the money must be credited to our account before midnight on May 31st, 2024.
  • If you cancel the order of the packaging units (within the framework of the Mail Order Sales Act) and still make use of our consultation, then this will be invoiced at a net rate of 1,200 € per day.
  • We will provide consultation and development services in the order in which we receive payments. In other words, service will be provided on a first come, first served basis.
  • The work should ideally fall within an area in which the team has experience. We’re happy to familiarize ourselves with new programming languages and frameworks for your project, but this and any other work on the project will count towards the 8 hours-per-packaging unit in the promotion. Again, if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
  • The promotion also does not apply if the customer is granted further discounts (e.g., reseller discounts, etc.)
  • Legal recourse is excluded.

Can I also take advantage of the promotion as a private customer?

As a private customer, you can of course also purchase one or more packaging units from us and receive the work as part of the promotion.

When does the promotion end?

The promotion ends at midnight on May 31st, 2024. The money for the purchase of the goods must be credited to our account by this date at the latest in order for you to receive free consultation services.
