Announcing PiCockpit’s Video Streaming App

It brings us great pleasure to officially announce the release of our newest feature: the PiCockpit Video Streaming App.

We have received a lot of requests for just such an app and we are proud to now offer PiCockpit users the ability to stream video with ease.

This new feature enables you to stream video directly from your Raspberry Pi devices. And by using PiCockpit, you can watch that video from anywhere in the world.

PiCockpit Video Streaming App

All you need in addition to your Raspberry Pi and a camera is an internet connection with a browser!

Video Streaming and Business

With the PiCockpit Video Streaming App, you can harness the power of your Raspberry Pi cameras like never before.

Whether you’re using it for security, live feed monitoring, or even as a quality control tool, the possibilities are endless.

From retail stores to office spaces, having access to real-time video feeds can significantly enhance security measures and operational efficiency.

Monitor customer traffic, ensure workplace safety, or simply keep an eye on inventory—all from the convenience of a centralized web interface with PiCockpit.

You could also use the app for event management, facility maintenance, or customer service optimization.

While the app is currently in beta, we’re working tirelessly to ensure that users have a smooth experience.

PiCockpit Free Plan vs. PiCockpit Pro Plan

For users on our free plan, the PiCockpit Video Streaming App provides access to 30 minutes of video streaming per day across multiple cameras.

This allows you to explore the features and functionality of the app without any financial commitment.

However, for those seeking unlimited access and advanced features, upgrading to the PiCockpit Pro Plan is the way to go.

With the Pro Plan, you can enjoy unlimited video streaming across as many cameras as you require, providing both flexibility and scalability.

Conclusion

Whether you’ve got a business in need of robust surveillance solutions or product monitoring, our new app has you covered.

And we’ve tested the video streaming on a host of Raspberry Pi models to ensure that video streaming isn’t limited to just the newest models.

The app works with both MIPI cameras and USB cameras.

We haven’t tested it with any drones, but if you’d like to give it a try, provided you’re using a Raspberry Pi, it should work!
